Jen Ambrose Bio
A frequent performer throughout the Northwest, Jen Ambrose is seen in a diversity of settings ranging from regional wineries and casinos, numerous Concerts in the Parks, the Britt Festival to the main stage at the Seattle Hempfest. Both as a solo act and with her band she has opened for a number of well-known artists including Chris Isaak, Michael Franti, Colin Hay (of 80’s band Men at Work), 60’s folk/rock legend Donovan, Pablo Moses and songstress Dar Williams, to name a few.
Jen accompanies herself with an acoustic guitar style that ranges from driving rhythms to intricate finger and flat-picking, slide on the 12-string or electric guitar for more rock and blues. Musical influences have included the old Delta Blues styles of the early 20th century, swing Jazz of the 30’s, classic rock of the late 60’s, Middle Eastern and Native American singing and drumming.
CURRENT MUSICAL PROJECTS:
Solo and duo acoustic original music and eclectic covers including over 4 hours of original material. Solo performances also include live looping that incorporated flute solos and guitar leads.

Nothin' But The Blues: These live shows feature Jen's powerful vocals over her original blues songs and covers that include Etta James, Koko Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tadeshi and more. She accompanies herself on electric guitar.
Ambrose & Annieville: Golden Classics, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop Duo
One of the newest Duo’s in the valley, Ambrose & are certainly no strangers. Jen Ambrose is a very accomplished local musician with over 20 years in the valley and Annieville is a seasoned veteran who has performed all over the world for small groups of dedicated fans to festivals of 20,000 plus. This duo beautifully complements each other featuring the power and range of Jen’s vocals, and the incredible arrangement and execution of the cords on the keyboard by Annieville.
A Sentimental Journey: Currently the ladies are featuring a very special show, A Sentimental Journey. This show has been put together to feature sultry, soulful music from yesterday to today arranged in a glamorous sentimental ballad style. The music covers everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Dire Straits, Billie Holiday to Bette Midler, KD Lang to who knows. This show is only available for a limited number of engagements per year.
Jen Ambrose & The Polyphonic Symphony: This 10 piece band features the musicians from the recent Tidal Wave album. The show highlights Jen's original music with some select covers. The music spans jazz, blues, soul, country and Americana. In 2018, Jen Ambrose & The Polyphonic Symphony opened at the Britt Garden Stage for Cris Isaak.
Sound Stage Revue: Outside of her original music, this ensemble is the most eclectic featuring a 9 - 15 person group consisting of a full band and 3 female vocalists. Each performance is a full show with full costume changes and a repertoire spanning music from the 30's through contemporary pop, rock and country with Broadway and Burlesque numbers. Appearances include summer concerts in the parks and regional casinos. Jen has been seen with the premier Johnny Cash cover artist performing as June Carter Cash and Loretta Lynn.
